On the auspicious occasion of Ugadi (Telugu New Year), celebrated on March 18, 2018; Hevilambi Panguni 4(Uthiratadhi), Sri Azhagiya Nambi had purappadu in a very grand manner at the Thirukkurngudi Divya Desam. Sri Azhagiya Nambi and his consorts adorned beautiful vasthrams, ornaments and garlands and blessed the devotees during the purappadu. Several astikas participated in the Ugadi Purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Azhagiya Nambi.
