On 23rd March 2018 (Hevilambi varusha panguni Rohini Natshatram) Sri RamaNavami Utsavam was commenced in grand manner at Sri Kodhandaramar Temple, Alwarpet. On this occasion, Perumal was decorated beautifully with flower garlands and abharanams. He wore yellow color vasthram. In the evening, He gave beautiful darshan in Kalinga Narthana Thirukolam and had Thiruveedhi purappadu on Suryaprabhai vahanam.
The 2nd day of Sri RamaNavami Utsavam was celebrated on 24th March 2018. In the evening Perumal was adorned with yellow and red color vasthram. He was decorated beautifully with flower garlands and abhranams and had purappadu on Hamsa vahanam. Several astikas participated in the utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Kodhandaramar.
