On 26th March 2018 (Hevilambi Varusha Panguni Punarpoosa Nakshatram), Dhavana Utsavam commenced in grand manner at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple,Thiruvallur. In the Evening, Perumal was adorned with red and green colored vasthram. Perumal gave beautiful darshan in midst of fragrance flowers at Mandapam. Perumal with his consorts had Ul purappadu.
Likewise 2nd day was celebrated grandly on 27th March 2018. Sri Veeraraghava Perumal had a beautiful alangaram as ‘Kaalinganarthana Thirukolam’ and adorned beautiful garlands and ornaments. After that, Perumal along with Ubhayanachiyars had Ul purappadu. Several astikas participated in the utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Veeraraghava Perumal.
