On 30th March 2018 (Hevilambi Varusha Panguni Pooram), Panguni Uthira Utsavam was celebrated well at Sri Bhaktavatsala Perumal Temple, Thirunindravur. On this occasion, Thirumanjanam for DivyaDampathis done that began with water followed by milk, curds, honey, raw coconut water, sandal etc. After Thirumanjanam, Perumal wore blue color vasthram and Thayar wore attractive pink color saree. DivyaDampathis had great alangaram with several necklaces, kaasu malai, pendants, chains and flower garlands. Perumal also had great greedam. On this greedam, He looks like a king. Then, Perumal and Thayar had Oonjal sevai. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. In the evening, DivyaDampathis had Thiruveethi purappadu. Several astikas participated in the Panguni Uthira Utsavam and had the blessings of Perumal and Thayar.
