As a part of ongoing Panguni utsavam at Thirunindravur Sri Bakthavatsala perumal Temple, the 3rd day of Utsavam took place on 4th April 2018 (Panguni-Anusham). For the morning event, Sri Perumal, had purappadu on Golden big Garuda vaahanam.
Earlier, on 2nd April 2018, Hevilambi Panguni Swathi; the first day of Panguni brahmotsavam was celebrated. Perumal gave darshan to devotees by the Purappadu in simha vahanam. For that procession, Sri Perumal dressed up in Yoha Narashimma thirukolam adorned jewels and jasmine garlands with radium green and blue combo vasthram.
On the next day, 3rd April(Panguni-Visakam), 2nd day of brahmotsavam was celebrated. For that day’s procession, Sri perumal had the Nachiyar thirukolam adorned big jewels like kaasu malai and mango malai around his neck surrounded by Thulasi malai and also jasmine garlands. Then the purappadu took place on hamsa vahanam. For the evening event, Sri Bakthavatsalan had a very grand alangaram with full of scintillating jewels and blessed his bakthas by purappadu on surya Prabhai vaahanam.
