On 31st March 2018 (Hevilambi Panguni Uthiram) Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Thiruvural Utsavam took place in grand manner at Putlur. In the morning Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava perumal starts his journey on palanquin to Putlur for Thiruvural utsavam. He was decorated beautifully with flower garlands and abharanams and He wore red color vasthram. He gave darshan to the devotees at Putlur Manadapam. Then in the afternoon Thirumanjanam was performed to Perumal along with his Ubhayanachiyars. The tirumanjanam began with water followed by milk, curds, honey, raw coconut water, sandal paste etc.He was adorned with rose garlands and along with his consorts He gave scintillating darshan. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several astikas participated in the Thiruvural Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Veeraraghava Perumal.
