On 26th April 2018(SriVilambi Chithirai Pooram), the 8th day of the Sri Narasimha Jayanthi was celebrated at Chembur Sri Ahobila Mutt, Mumbai. In the morning, Utsavar Sri PrahaladaVaradan had Porvai kalaithal Utsavam. Porvai kalaithal starts with sky blue color porvai followed by pink, red and green. Theeparathanai was taken for all color porvai. In the evening, Perumal had a great alangaram with several pendants, chains, pearl fixed red color crown and flower garlands. He wore green color beautiful vasthram and had purappadu on Ashwa vaahanam. On Ashwa vaahanam, Perumal looked like a king. Several astikas participated in the Sri Narasimha Jayanthi and had the bleesings of Perumal.
