The fifth day of Chithirai Brahmotsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Yoga Narasimha Perumal Temple, Sholingur on April 25, 2018 (Sri Vilambi Chithirai Magam). On that morning, the event took place with purappadu of Sri Perumal on palanquin who resembled the beautiful and benevolent Sri Andal in Nachiyar Thirukolam with green-yellow vasthram adorned garlands and jewels. Many devotees received his blessings on that occasion.
Later that evening, Garuda Sevai took place grandly. Perumal had beautiful alankaram, with scented jasmine and rose garlands for that procession. Then He ascended on the shoulders of Garuda who held Perumal’s auspicious Thiruvadi on his palm. Lots of devotees participated in that purappadu and received his blessings.
