On 23rd April 2018 (SriVilambi Chithirai Poosam), the 2nd day of Chithirai Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Sri Aadhi Jagannatha Perumal Temple, Thirupullani. In the morning, Sri Pattabiramaswamy had Thirumanjanam. The tirumanjanam began with water followed by milk, curd, honey, raw coconut water, sandal paste etc.. Then He was dressed up with white vasthram and had a great alangaram of flower garlands and ornaments. He also had bow and arrow in His hand. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. In the evening Sri Pattabiramar wore blue silk vasthram. He was adorned with several chains and pendants and different varieties of flowers. He had stone fixed wonderful crown on His head. He gave scintillating darshan to the astikas on Yaali vaahanam. Several devotees participated in the Chithirai Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Pattabiramaswamy.
On 22nd April 2018 (SriVilambi Chithirai Punarpoosam) Chithirai Utsavam commenced in a grand manner. In the morning, Dwajarohanam was performed. Then Sri Pattabiramar and Sri Aadhi Jagannatha Perumal Serthi Thirumanjanam happened. In the evening Rakshabandanam and Arulicheyal started. First Rakshabandanam done for Sri Aadhi Jagannatha Perumal followed by Sri Pattabiramar. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Then Sri Aadhi Jagannatha Perumal , Sri Pattabiramar were decorated beautifully. Later Sri Pattabiramr, Seetha Piratti, Sri Lakshmanan had a great alangaram and had Thiruveedhi purappadu on Surya prabhai.Ramar had bow and arrow in His hand. Followed by Sri Pattabiramar, Sri Sakravarthi Thirumagan also had Surya prabhai purappdu. Several astikas participated in the Chithirai Utsavam and had the blessings of Perumal.
