As part of ongoing Chithirai Brahmotsavam at Thiruvallikeni Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple, Day 7 Utsavam was celebrated on May 5, 2018 (Chithirai-Pooradam). In the morning, Sri Parthasarathy Perumal with His Consorts had thiruveethi purappadu on Thiruther. For that grand event, several devotees participated in Thiruther Vadam Pidithal and received the blessings of Divyathambathis. Significantly, the utsavam took place in the presence of Tirupati Pedda Jeeyar and Sri Perumbudur Jeeyar.
Earlier on 3rd May 2018 (Chithrai-Kettai), the 5th day of Chithirai Brahmotsavam was celebrated, in the morning Sri Perumal had Nachiyar Thirukolam followed by thiruveethi purappadu on Pallakku. Then in the evening thiruveethi purappadu took place on Hanumantha Vahanam. Perumal wore lavish green vasthram and adorned jewels and scented garlands of jasmine. Grand satrumurai took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti.
Day 6 Utsavam was celebrated on May 4 2018(Chithrai-Moolam). In the morning, Sri Perumal with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram followed by thiruveethi purappadu on Anandha Vimana Vahanam and Choornabishekam was performed. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with veda parayana ghosti followed by Pathi Ulathal in the evening. Finally in the night, Sri Perumal had Yaanai Vahanam for Thiruveethi Purappadu in the midst of ghosti parayanam. Many devotees participated in the Brahmotsavam and received the blessings of Sri Perumal.
