On 16th May 2018 (Srivilambi Varusha Vaikasi Karthigai) the 7th day of the Brahmotsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Kothandaramaswamy Devasthanam, Perumudivakkam. In the morning, Sri Ramar and Sri Lakshman were decorated with blue and red vasthram with shawl and Seetha with yellow vasthram. The DivyaDampathis were adorned with beautiful kaasu malai, other ornaments and jasmine and rose garlands. Sri Ramar and Sri Lakshmanan held bow and arrow in their hands. After alangaram, They were taken to the Thiruther. Along with Sri Lakshman, Sri Ramar and Seetha piratti had Thiruveedhi purappadu on Thiruther. The Thiruther was decorated with pearls, flowers and the Divyadampathis gave scintillating darshan to the astikas. Several astikas participated in the Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Sri Kothandaramaswamy.
