As a part of ongoing Brahmotsavam, Day 9 was celebrated on 4th June 2018 (Srivilambi Vaikasi Thiruvonam) at Sri Devathirajan Perumal Temple, Therazhundhur. In the morning, Sri Amaruviappan wore pink vasthram and was decorated with flower garlands of kanakambaram,thulasi, jasmine. Perumal decorated with His Panchayudham (five weapons – shankam (Panchajanyam), chakram (Sudarsanam), gadai (Kaumodiki), sword (Nandaki) and bow (Saargam)) along with Ubhayanachiyars had purappadu on Thiruther.
The next day, the 10th day, was celebrated well on 5th June 2018 (Srivilambi Vaikasi Avittam). In the evening, Perumal was adorned with dark rose vasthram with a golden big crown. DwadasAaradhana,Pushpayagam. Satrumurai,Dwaja avarohanam was performed. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several astikas participated and had the blessings of Sri Devathirajan.
