On 4th June 2018 (Srivilambi Vaikasi Thiruvonam), Swami Desikan Thiru maadaveethi purappadu took place a grand manner at Triplicane Sri Ahobila Mutt. In the evening, Swami Desikan was decorated with muthangi kreedam (pearl fixed crown) and flower garlands of sevanthi, rose, thulasi. He had great alankaram. Several astikas participated in the purappadu and received the blessings of Swami Desikan in this significant year of His 750th thirunakshatram.
