As a part of the Vaikasi Brahmotsavam, Day 6 was celebrated grandly on 1st June 2018 (Vaikasi Moolam) at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram. In the morning, Sri DevaPerumal wore yellow silk vasthram and had Venugopal Thirukolam. His consorts wore yellow silk saree and adorned with beautiful ornaments and different type of flower garlands. Perumal had flute in His hands. After alankaram, Sri Devaperumal and Ubhayanachiyars had purappadu in Rajaveedhi and Gangai kondan mandapam. Later in the evening, Sri Devaperumal was decorated beautifully with several ornaments and flower garlands and pearl fixed crown. He had purappadu on Yaanai vahanam. During this purappadu, yesal (swift procession back and forth thrice) took place in a grand manner. Many devotees participated in the Vaikasi Brahmotsavam and received the blessings of Sri Devaperumal.
