On 8th June 2018 ( Srivilambi Vaikasi Uthirattathi), Vellikizhamai purappadu took place for Sri Amruthavalli Thayar grandly at Sri Azhagiya Singaperumal Temple, Thiruvellukai Divya Desam. Thayar gave benevolent darshan to the astikas. She was decorated with maanga malai, kaasu malai, several pendants and flower garlands. Thayar had Ekantha sevai following the purappadu. Many devotees took part in the vellikizhamai utsavam and received the blessings of Thayar.
