On 16th of July 2018, the first day of the Thirupavithrotsavam was celebrated well at Sri Aravamudhan Sannidhi in Sarangapani Temple, Thirukkudandhai. For that event, Perumal along with Ubhaya Nachiyars adorned the colourful silk pavithrams and had purappadu around the temple premises. Several asthikas participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of Divyathambathis.
