On 22nd July 2018 (Srivilambi Aadi Visakam), Thirupavithrotsava Udaya Garuda Sevai for Sri Aaravamudan held at Thirukkudanthai (Kumbakonam). Early in the morning, Sri Aaravamudan ascended on Garuda vaahanam and gave wonderful darshan to the asthikas followed by Thiruveedhi Purappadu. He was decorated beautifully with several ornaments and garlands of jasmine, thulasi, kanakambaram. Thereafter, pavithrotsavam took place at the sannidhi (whereby Sri Sarangapani and Ubhayanachiyars adorned colourful silk pavithrams). This was followed by thotti thirumanjanam for the small utsava murthi. Lot of devotees had participated in the utsavam.
