On 20th July 2018, (Vilambi Aadi Chithirai), the first Friday of Aadi month, was celebrated with the thirumanjanam and purappadu for Sri Mayuravalli Thayar at Sri Aadhikesava Perumal Temple, Mylapore. Sri Thayar adorned an auspicious yellow and blue vasthram with beautiful alankaram. She had purappadu on Sesha vahanam around the temple streets. All the astikas in the madaveethi received the blessings of Thayar.
