Vilambi Aadi Bharani (August 5 2018) marked the commencement of Sri Sengamala Thayar’s Thiruvadipooram utsavam at Sri Rajagopala Swami temple, Mannargudi. On the first day morning, dwajarohanam was performed in a grand manner. In the evening, procession which took place on tholukkiniyan, Thayar had very beautiful alankaram in maroon with orange border vasthram with garlands of Thulasi, jasmine and anemone. Several devotees participated and received the blessings of Thayar.
