On 28th September 2018 (Srivilambi Purattasi Bharani), purappadu for Sri Perundevi Thayarpurappadu took place grandly at Sri Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram. Thayar adorned yellow and marron silk saree and was decorated with several ornaments and tricolor garland of kanakambaram, jasmine and thulasi. She gave scintillating darshan to the astikas during purappadu. Several astikas took part in the Sukravara Purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Perundevi Thayar.
