Sri Padmavathi Thayar Annual Brahmothsavam at Sri Balaji Mandir, Dombivili, Mumbai, commenced on November 25, 2011 (Friday). Thayar is taken on a procession (purapadu) within the temple everyday of the utsavam in the evening (7.30 pm). On Day 1 and 2 (November 25 and 26), Thayar was taken out in procession on Gaja vahanam and Hamsa vahanam.
Today Thayar’s purapadu will take place on Simha Vahanam and tomorrow on Garuda vahanam. The utsavam will conclude on November 29 (Wednesday) with Thiru Ther in the morning (10.30 am) and Ananda Vimanam in the evening (7.30 pm).
