Ingredients
Nellikkai | Goosberry | 2 large cups |
Pachai Milagai | Green Chillies | 10 |
Thengai | Coconut | 1 – grated |
Kadugu | Mustard | 1 tsp |
Perungayam | Asoefoetida | A pinch |
Tayir | Curd | Half a cup |
Sundakkai | Turkey berry ( | to taste |
Koththamalli | Coriander leaves | for garnishing |
Uppu | Salt | To taste |
Method
Soak gooseberries overnight or boil in cooker until cooked.
Grind cooked gooseberries with coconut, chillies, salt and asoefoetida to smooth paste.
Add salt and curd to paste.
Temper with mustard and sundakkai if desirable.
Garnish with koththamalli leaves.
