Shadari Prathishtai for LakshmiHayagreevar, Chakrathalzhwar and Anjaneyar at Sri Vaikuntanathji Temple, New Delhi

Today (Masi Sravanam, February 20, 2012) shadari prathishtai for LakshmiHayagreevar, Chakrathalzhwar and Anjaneyar took place at Sri Vaikuntanathji Temple, Ber Sarai, New Delhi.

In the morning, thirumanjanam was performed by the archakar to LakshmiHayagreevar and Swami Desikan. Following this, shadari prathishtai was successfully completed by way of prescribed rituals which were performed by the archakars.

In the evening, purappadu of Swami Desikan took place around the koil prakaram.

About the temple

Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir at Sri Vedanta Desika Marg in Ber Sarai, New Delhi was established on Uttaratadi, Karthigai in 1972 by Srimad Thirukkudanthai Andavan (the then pontiff of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam). Moolavar is Sri Vaikuntanathar, Utsavar Sri Ranganathar and Thayar Sri Ranganayaki. Andal nachiyar is also present in the main sannidhi. In September 2011, sthapanam of LakshmiHayagreevar murthi took place during the Pavitrotsavam. Separate sannidhis are present for Anjaneyar and Chakrathalzhwar and SriNarasimhan (yoga).
