On Monday the 5th March, Utsavams took place with great pomp in Yadagirigutta. The Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Perumal was served Ashtottara Sata Ghatabhishekam. In the main mandapam the 11 day celebrations came to an end with ‘Srungara Dolothsavam’ on the final day.
Under the supervision of main priest Sri Nallamdigal Lakshmi Narasimhacharya and other priests Sata Ghatabhishekam (108 pot ritual bath) was performed with holy scented waters (sugandha) and fruit juices. For 8 days many religious, literary and cultural programs took place as part of the celebrations.
Decorated with special silk cloths, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami and mother Lakshmi are offered a cradle ceremony in the night. With that 11 day Bramhotsavams came to an end.
