Sri Vedantha Desika Sampradaya Sabha is organising the 2nd Sampradaya Layakari, a competition for children on Srivaishnava Sampradayam, Mumbai on June 3, 2012 ( Sunday) at sabha premises. The competiton consists of Drawing & Painting / Quiz / Recitations Pasurams ,Stotras etc. The Last date to submit applications is 30 April 2012. The participants need to reach sabha by 14.30 hrs on the day of competition.
For the competition, children are divided into four groups as under:
a.sub juniors – age upto 5 years
b. juniors – age 5 to 10 years
c. seniors – age 10 to 15 years
d. super seniors – age above 15 to 20 years.
For children to gain confidance and correct recitation, sabha has organised training in recitation for the children who need such assistance. Those desire to learn slokas may contact (arranged in Chembur as well as Matunga) ,the following persons:
