Chithirai Brahmotsavam commenced on April 28, 2012 this year at Sri Pallikonda Aranganathar Devasthanam, a 500 year old Thirukkoil at Idigarai (Coimbatore district). The utsavam will conclude on May 8, 2012. Every year on Chithirai Pournami, thiruther (car festival) is celebrated in a grand manner – this year our this utsavam falls on May 5, 2012.
