The Brahmotsavam of Sri Vaidhiya Veeraragava Swamy at Thiruvallur is being held from April 26 and concludes on May 5, 2012. On April 26 Dwaja Aarohanam was done and yesterday 27th of April it was Garudasevai.
Lord Veeraraghavan of Tiruvallur enjoys Garuda sevai 4 times in a calender year.Chaitra brahmothsavam, Thai Brahmothsavam , Ani swathy Periyazvar Thirunakshatram & Adi pooradam Alavandar thirunakshatram cum Gajendra moksham.On 3rd day of both the brahmothsavam a pair of New Umbrellas are offered to Lord Veeraraghavan.
Located about 50kms from Madras on the Madras-Arakkonam rail route is Veera Raghava Perumal koil in Thiru Evvalur (now Thiruvellur).

One can also take the Tirupathi bound buses to reach Thiruvellur.
