As part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam at Sri Ranganatha Perumal Thirukkoil, Thiruneermalai (which commenced on May 3, 2012 and ends May 14), Perumal had purappadu in pallakku in the morning of Day 9 (May 12, 2012) and theerthavari of Chakratazhwar also took place. Dwajavarohanam and Tholukiniyan took place in the evening.
