Swamy Nammalwar’s Thirunakshatram was celebrated on 3.06.2012 at Andavan Ashram Coimbatore. Sevarthees from Veerapandi pirivu village and members of the Paduka Seva samithi attended.
With invocation to Divyadampathis and our Acharyans, recitation of divyaprabhandam and thiruvoimozhi was done with lot of devotion and sincerity. Sattumurai and prasadam distribution followed.
The grand finale was the brief and concise discourse on Swamy Nammalwar by Asthana Harikatha exponent Sri.u.ve.Kalaimamani Kalyanapuram Aravamudachari. In his discourse, Kalyanapuram swamy not only traced the origin of 4000 divyaprabhandam, but also elucidated the life sketch of Swami Nammalwar and his creation of tamil vedam. The significance and importance of Thirunakshatram celebrations of Acharyas was also highlighted.
