On June 3, 2012, Sri Satyanarayana Pooja was celebrated at riverside at Haverstraw Park, No 21 Gagan Road, West Haverstraw, NY 10993. This place is about 9 miles from Sri Ranganatha Temple, Pomona, USA. This pooja is an annual feature. This was done on a full moon day. Around 800 devotees attended the pooja. Despite heavy rains, all devotees stayed on till the whole programme was completed from 4pm to 9 pm. The Chairman Dr.Venkat Kanumalla & BOT arranged 100 volunteers who helped in carrying out all the work from the temple to the park, starting with 4 pm sankalpam after katha theertham & prasadam distribution for all 800 devotees.
