Yesterday, the 9th of June 2012, was VaikAsi SraVaNam. After a grand Thirumanjanam and Veda SaaRRumuRai, Swamy Desikan at His avatAra stalam of Thooppul was adorned with a SwarNa Kati Sootram, which is used by VaidhikAs during Bhagavad ArAdhanam. Few hours after this samarpaNam, Lord VaradarAjan visited Thoopul Sannidhi of Swamy Desikan and received Darsana Taamboolam and other MaryAdhais . Lord VaradarAjan was Swamy Desikan’s ArAdhana Moorthy during His deha Yaatrai. It was therefore most appropriate the Lord and the AchAryan met together on this special day of ongoing BrahmOtsavam for the Lord at Kaanchi. 17 Desika BhaktAs from USA , India and Singapore have contributed towards this Kainkaryam.
