Vairamudi Sevai at New Delhi Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir

On the 41th prathishta dinam of Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir, New Delhi on November 23, 2012, Utsavar Sri Ranganathar gave Vairamudi Seva to the bhaktas. Perumal (utsavar) was taken in procession (purappadu) on Sesha Vahanam around the temple prakaram in the evening followed by the sathumurai. In the morning, thirumanjanam was performed to Moolavar, Utsavar along with the Ubhaya Nachiyars.

About the temple: 

Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir at Sri Vedanta Desika Marg in Ber Sarai, New Delhi was established on Uttaratadi, Karthigai in 1972 by Srimad Thirukkudanthai Andavan (the then pontiff of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam). Moolavar is Sri Vaikuntanathar, Utsavar Sri Ranganathar and Thayar Sri Ranganayaki. Andal nachiyar is also present in the main sannidhi. In addition, the old utsavar Ranganathar along with nachimars (in sitting posture)  is present like in Srirangam. Separate sannidhis are there for Anjaneya and Chakrathalwar and Narasimhan (yoga).  In September 2011, sthapanam of Lakshmi Hayagreevar murthi took place during the Pavitrotsavam. Later on Masi Sravanam this year (February 20, 2012), shadari prathishtai for LakshmiHayagreevar, Chakrathalzhwar and Anjaneyar took place.
