Temple honours from Tirumala–Tirupathi Devasthanam were brought to Srirangam Sri Ranganathar temple on the occasion of ‘Kaisika Ekadasi’ on Saturday. Holy and conventional ‘vastram’ for Sri Ranganathar, Sri Thaayar, fruits and other holy articles were brought from Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam for this annual ritual.

  1. That was an excellent honour from Tirupathi Devasthanam to Srirangam Temple. Actually Kaisika Ekadeshi Festival is one of the important festivals celebrated in vishnu temples of South India. This day attains its greatness as Nampaduvan who proved his devotion over Lord Vishnu to Brahmaratshasa through his Paranas and true spiritual belief.
