Samprokshanam at Sri Balaji Mandir, Vrindavan

With the paripoorna anugraham of prakritam Srimadh Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Maha Desikan, Samprokshanam of the renovated Sri Balaji Mandir – at Brindavan/Mathura, popularly known as Uttara Tirupati, will be held on Sunday the 27th January, 2013 morning.

The Brindavan Ashramam is one of the most abhimana kshetrams of Srimad Andavan. While performing His Chaturmasa Sankalpam at the Ashramam during 2006, HH took special care and initiatives to construct within the Ashramam a small sannidhi for Sri Srinivasa – Sri Balaji.  The main feature of the moolavar of this kshetram is inscription of Sri Ashtalakshmis within the vigraham.  Utsavar Sri Gokula Krishnan is also the most beautiful with chottum azhagu.

Recently,  the moolavar sannidhi vimanam, mandapam, and small rooms/sannidhis for Thayar Sri Maha Lakshmi, Sri Andal, Sri Garudan and the compound wall have been renovated.

Brindavan is a village, once noted for its fragrant groves, where Krishna spent an eventful youth. The name Brindavan evokes the playfulness and lovable characteristics of Shri Krishna as this was where he frolicked with the gopis.  In the Adi Varaha Purana it says that there are over 600 million tirthas (holy places) on this earth. The benefit of going to all these tirthas and more is attained by going to the tirthas (holy places) in Mathura. It also says in the Adi Varaha Purana that by circumambulating Mathura you attain a hundred times the same results as circumambulating all the holy places, temples in the world, and the benefits of giving all charity and doing all rituals for the well-being of the world. It also says that even those who just see a person who has just returned from Mathura gets cleansed of their sins.

Srimadh Andavan Ashramam Sri Balaji Mandir is situated at Parikrama Marg , Raman Reti , Vrindavan – 281 121, Mathura District Tel: 0565 3207818

All bhaktas are requested attend the Samprokshanam on Sunday the 27th January, 2013, and be the recipient of Kripa Kadaksham/Blessings of Divya Dampatis.
