Samvathsarotsavam (Samprokshana Day) is celebrated yearly on Thai Punarvasu at Vaduvur Kothandaramaswamy Temple.
This year, it was celebrated on the Republic Day, Jan 26. The celebration started with Moolavar Tirumanjanam. Kumbha, Mandala, Bimbha, Agni chatushtana Aradhana, Vishnu Sahasranama Homam, Poorahuthi, Kumba Prokshanam.
Theppotsavam festival started at 8:00PM with Veedhi Purapadu (Procession) of Divya Thambathi towards Sarayu Pushkarni (Temple Tank).
