The avatara utsavam of Thirukoshtiyur Nambigal, one of Swami Ramanuja’s Acharyas, is being celebrated at Thirukoshtiyur Sri Sowmiyanarayana Perumal Thirukkoil. Thirukoshtiyur Nambi’s thirunakshatram falls on Vikasi Rohini which will be celebrated on June 8th this year (2013).
