On June 16, 2013, Thotti Thirumanjanam for Garudan is scheduled to be presided over by Sri U.Ve. M.V.Ananthapadmanabhachar Swami at Srirangam Sri Desikan Thirumaligai, 116 North Uttara Street for rainfall. The programme is scheduled to take place between 9 am and 12 noon and includes Thotti Thirumanjanam, Nava Kalasa Thirumanjanam for Utsava moorthy of Garudazhwar at Sri Desikan Thirumaligai. This would be followed by Archanai, Aradhanam, Thaligai, Prarthanai, Sathumurai and goshti viniyogam. Thirumanjanam would be conducted by Sri SKR Bhattar, Srirangam. Garuda Dandakam, Garuda Panchashat and Periyazhwar Thirumozhi would be recited on this day. Astikas in and around Srirangam may take this opportunity to participate in this prayer and make this effort a successful one.
