Bhoomi Puja or ground breaking ceremony was conducted on the morning of July 10, 2013 for the construction of Anna Dhana Koodam (dining hall) at the temple. Presently, there is no dedicated place to serve food to the poor during Nithya (daily) Anna Dhanam activities. The Vaduvur Chakravarthy Thirumagam Dharma Paripalana Trust, started in 2011 by President Award winner Salakshana Ganapati Vaduvur Veeravalli Srinivasa Desikachariar Swami, has taken up the responsibility to sponsor the construction on the temple land with the approval of temple authorities.
