Chaturmasya Sankalpam of Tirumala-Tirupati Jeeyar H.H. Sri Periyakoil Kelviyappan Sadagopa Ramanuja Pedda Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala along with Sri Narayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamy commenced on Monday, July 22nd 2013.
On Monday both the Jeeyars offered prayers to Sri Bhuvaraha Swamy, Srivari temple and later reached Jeeyar Mutt in Tirumala in a religious procession before commencing the Vrata. Later the vrata commenced amidst chanting of vedic hymns by over 3000 veda pundits from across the country who convened to witness the religious event.
