Today (July 27, 2013), was Day 4 of the ongoing Pavithrotsavam at Sri Venkatachalapathy Perumal Temple at BHEL township in Trichy. Perumal adorned a new rathna greedam today.
The fifth-year Pavithrotsavam at Padmavathi Sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple commenced on 23rd of July 2013. The six-day Pavithrotsavam will conclude on the 28th of July 2013. Many devotees around Trichy are participating in the Pavitrotsavam to receive the blessings of Padmavathi thayar and Srinivasa Perumal.
