Today Vijaya Varusha Aadi Krithigai (July 31, 2013) is the 10th day of HH 46th Srimath Azhagiyasingar’s Chaturmasya Sankalpam. Krithigai is the nakshatram of Thirumangai Azhwar, so monthly Thirumanjanam was done to Kaliyan at Srirangam Dasavathara Sannidhi. Srimath Azhagiyasingar performed Abhigamanam after Vishvaroopam and Panchangapatanam as done everyday. The morning Thiruaradhanam is called Abhigamana Aradhanam. After Bhootha shudhi, Srimath Azhagiyasingar offered various upacharams to Sri Malolan. Thirumanjanam was accompanied by Vadyam and by the time it was over the ghosti recitation of vedams and prabhandams were also over. Sevarthees brought their offerings which were picked up by the kainkaryaparas sprinkled with water and offered to Malolan. Srimath Azhagiyasingar then did alankaram with flowers deftly matching and mixing the flowers. This was followed by archanai. Ashothara satha namavali of Malolan was recited slowly while Srimath Azhagiyasingar did archanai with Swarna pushpas, placing them gently at His feet inside a belt of silk so as the flowers did not get dented. By the time archanai was over the Thaligai was kept ready for offering after sthala shuddhi. The curtain was drawn and the thaligai was offered as the twin ghantas were rung. After thaligai amsai, the curtain was opened for Mangala Harathi followed by Satrumurai. Long strands of flowers were cut into pieces and distributed to everyone.
Srimath Azhagiyasingar offered Srisathari to the acharyas in the swarna mandapam. Then, HH took perumal Theertham and placed the golden sathari on His head. At this point, the ghosti recitation stopped and the officiating Aradhakar swami offered Arulapaddu: “Vedamarga Pratishtapanacharya” Parahamsa parivrAjakacharya “Sarvatantra swatantra ubhayavedanthacharya” Sri Bhaghavath Ramanuja sidhanthanirdharna sarva bhouma Srivan sathakopa Sri RangaNatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan arulappadu” The goshti then resumed satrumurai.
