Korakkai is situated between Mukkur and Injimedu villages. The village has a temple for Sri Varadaraja Swami. This temple was constructed 300 years back. The land was enchroached by lot of people from kuppam and with great difficulty the localites have got it back and are taking efforts to put a surrounding compound wall to protect from further encroachment.
This is for reconstruction of Sri Varadaraja Swami Thirukovil has been decided and a Kainkarya Trust called “Sri Varadharaja Swamy Kaingariya Trust” (S.V.S.K TRUST) is formed. Kindly take part in this kaingaryam by choosing either by contributing small amounts of money or take a particular kainkaryam (like sponsoring for bricks, cement etc.,). This temple is purely constructed sofar from the funds of individuals from all walks of life. Please contribute whatever is possible. It can be 10 Rs or 10 $ or 10 Euros as each paisa contributed is valuable for the construction of temple. Kindly arrange to send Cheque or D.D in favour of the above trust name.
