Thillaisthanam Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple Laksharchanai and Thirukalyanotsavam

The 62nd Annual Laksharchanai and Thirukalyanotsavam Kalyanotsavam is scheduled to take place at Thillaisthanam Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur District, between August 22nd and 26th, 2013. Devotees around Tanjore may make it convenient to attend the utsavam and have the blessings of  Srinivasa Perumal.

“Thillaisthanam – originally known as Thirunai thanam” is a beautiful agraharam situated near the bank of Kaveri river 1 km from Thiruvaiyyaru, Kumbakonam thaluk. Sri Alermelmanga Sametha Sri Srinivasa perumal is a very ancient temple where our great scholars like Thillaisthanam swamy and many others have worshipped the lord and immersed in his beauty! The Temple follows Sri Paancharathra Aagamam. Every year, annual bramhotsavam is conducted in the month of Chittirai and theerthavaari takes place on Shravana Nakshathram. Other utsavams like Pavithrotsavam, Adhyayanotsavam, Thirukalyanotsavam, Parvotsavam are performed. Astabandhana Samprokshanam for this temple was conducted during May 2012.
