Sri Jayanthi utsavam was celebrated for two days – August 29th and 30th, 2013 (Vijaya Varusha Avani Masam 13 and 14) at Srirangam Sri Ranganathar Divya Desam. On August 29th, Namperumal’s purappadu from moolasthanam Sripandaram Asthana Mandapam took place at 10-10:30 am. Thirumanjanam took place at this mandapam from 11 am to 2 pm. Sevarthis had darsanam till 5.45 pm after alankaram. Thereafter, Namperumal returned to moolasthanam.
On August 30th, Sri Krishnan had purappadu at 7.15 am. After yennai (oil) villayattu in the Chitrai veedis, Sri Krishnan returned to sannadhi. In the evening at around 4 pm, purappadu of Namperumal and ubhayanachiyars to Yadava Uri Adi Asthana Mandapam took place. Thereafter, purapaddu from this mandapam took place in the evening followed by uriyadi. Finally, perumal and nachiyars returned to moolasthanam at around 9 pm.
