By the niyamanam of Parakala mutt, the “Ramanuja Dayapathram thaniyan” utsavam is being celebrated at Melkote (Thirunarayanapuram) in a grand manner. The utsavam marks the celebration of the thanian bestowed by Brahmatantra Swatantra Jeeyar on Swami Desikan. With the blessings of Parakala swami, Sri U. Ve. Anantapadmanabhachar Swami is conducting this utsavam on September 7, 2013 at Melkote. The Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam of the HH 44th Azhagiyasingar of Sri Ahobila Mutt (Mukkur Srimath Azhagiyasingar) will also be held in the morning. Vidwad Sadas will be conducted with the participation of many eminent scholars. All the Aastikas are invited to take part in this utsavam of Ramanuja dayapathrar.

- Morning celebration- Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam of Mukkur Srimath Azhagiyasingar in Ahobila Mutt
- Afternoon-02.00 to 05.00 pm Vidwad Sadas including the participation of eminent Scholars
- Evening around 05.30 pm- Perumal and SriBhashyakarar purappadu to Adivan Satagopa Swami Brindavan
- 06.30 pm-The celebration of Ramanuja Dayapathra Utsavam: Perumal and SriBhashyakarar purappadu to Desikan Sannidhi
