In the olden days, the powers of a Brahman were incomparable with the powers of a Kshatriya’s Weapons. It was because of recitation of Vedas and repetitively reciting (Svadhyayam) every day some of the Verses (Panjathi). The following is an Article showing the powers of brahmans of those days. This article emphasises the importance of Vedas and the duty of Brahmans to preserve and recite them for the welfare of (Loka Kshemam) the whole mankind.
