Thanjai Mamani Temple comes under one Divya desam, with three temples cluster within a reach of few Hundred meters to each other temple.

I – Thanjai Mamani Kovil

Perumal (Lord) : Neelamegha Perumal – Sitting Posture – Facing East.

Thayar(Lakshmi) : Sengamalavalli.

Pushkarni : Amrutha Theertham, Kannika Pushkarni, Vennaru.

Vimanam : Soundarya Vimanam.

Pratyaksham : Parasara Muni.

II – Manikundram

Perumal (Lord) : Manikundra Perumal – Sitting Posture – Facing East

Thayar(Lakshmi) : Ambujavalli.

Pushkarni : Srirama Theertham.

Vimanam : Manikkooda Vimanam.

Pratyaksham : Markandeya.

III – Thanjayali Nagar

Perumal (Lord) : Nrisimha – Sitting Posture – Facing East.

Thayar : Thanjai Nayagi.

Pushkarni : Surya Pushkarani, Srirama Theertham.

Vimanam : VedaSundara Vimanam

Pratyaksham : Markandeya
Uthsavar- Sriman Narayana in all the three temples.

Mangalasashanam

Boodathazhwar (1),Nammazhwar (1) , Tirumangai Azhwar (3).
Total – 5 pasurams

Vishesham

All the three temples together is considered as one Divya Desa and are about 200 m from each other. The Lord presented himself in the form of Nrisimha to Dhatchagan( Thanjagan – in Tamil ) at his request, hence the name Thanjai. The Lord in Tanjai mamani kovil faces Thanjavur , hence is that Thanjai Kattharulum Deivam ( Protector of Thanjavur).

Brahmotsavam are celebrated in Tamil months of Panguni,Chithirai and VaikAsi( March to June) for the three temples are celebrated in succession.

Route

Situated at Vennatrankarai (Vennar Bank) about 5kms North of Thanjavur,on the Thanjavur-Thiruvayaru/Kumbakonam Road.
