Nagapattinam Sri Nigamaantha Maha Desikan Utsavam: Day 5&6

As part of the ongoing Swami Desikan Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam at Nagai Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan, Sri Nigamantha Mahadesikan Sannidhi at Nagapattinam, Day 5 and 6 were celebrated on October 8th and 9th, 2013 respectively. Swami Desikan had purappadu on Kamala Pallakku yesterday evening and on Yanai Vahanam today evening. Everyday morning purappadu took place on Thirupallakku until today. From tomorrow morning, there will be different alankaram and vahana purappadu in the morning as well.

The Mahotsavam commenced on October 4th, 2013 and will take place for 10 day until 13th of October 2013. Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan Sannidhi  is located at Sri Soundaryaraja Perumal East Maada Veethi. Astikas of this Divya Desam call this temple as ‘Sri Desikar Koil’. This Sannidhi was established in the year 1877 by HH Sri Sadagopa Yathindra Mahadesikan, the 33rd Jeeyar of Sri Ahobila Mutt.
