As part of the ongoing Thirunakshatra Utsavam of Srimath Adivan Sathakopan Yathindra Maha Desikan at Triplicane Sri Ahobila Mutt, on October 7, 2013, Day 7 of the utsavam took place. The utsavam commenced on October 1, 2013 and will carry on for 10 days till October 10, 2013.
Today, Thiruvaradhanam took place in the morning followed by Thirumanjanam and theertham. In the evening, pathi ulathal took place as usual. Srimath Adivan Sathakopan had special alankaram with LakshmiNrusimhan alinganam like Bhashyakarar Chellapillai alinganam. Satrumurai took place with Prabhanda Ghoshti with recitation of Periya Thirumozhi 5am pathu, Thiruvaimozhi 7am pathu, Thiruchinnamaalai. Simultaneously, Veda parayanam (Yajusham and Saamam) also took place.
Tomorrow’s utsavam (October 10, 2013) will be grand as it is the Thirunakshatram of Srimath Adivan Sathakopan. Astikas in and around the area may make it convenient to attend the utavam and get the blessings of the Acharyan.
