Ingredients:
Spinach(keerai)
1bunch
Cumin seeds
1tsp
Coconut scraped
2tbs
Green chilli
2
Rice flour
1tbs
Curd
3tbs
Salt
11/2tsp

Seasoning:

Oil
1tbs
Mustard seeds
1tsp
Channa dal
1tsp
Red chilli
1
Asafoetida
A pinch

Method:

  • Chop and wash the spinach and cook it till soft with salt.
  • Slightly mash up the spinach.
  • Grind coconut,cumin seeds, green chilli and rice flour.
  • Mix it up with curds and add it to the beaten spinach.
  • Heat up the mixture for few seconds without boiling it.
  • Separately, heat the kadai add oil and fry mustard seeds, channa dal, red chilli and hing. Add to the Keerai and serve.
